Julio Torres is the current Technology Director at [Deciem](/org/deciem). Prior to this, they were an Executive Producer at LucasArts from August 1997 to October 2010. In this role, they oversaw and mobilized all aspects of creative vision and development for multiple concurrent large-scale projects, including UX design, quality control, core engineering, audio, production, art, and gameplay design. Julio also mentored, coached, and directed around 10 senior direct reports and managed a team of over 100 people.

At LucasArts, Julio was responsible for overseeing and providing project direction and prioritization, as well as implementing development processes to meet stringent milestone deliverables. Julio worked closely with producers and project managers to mitigate development crunch, and also mentored team leaders. Julio was the primary point of contact with dev teams, first parties, marketing, sales, production, chain marketing, licensors, QA, PR, operations, legal teams and external contractors. Julio also partnered with department key players to define, plan, and effectively execute product releases, assuring game features and overall positioning were in full alignment.

Prior to their role at LucasArts, Julio was an estate planner and conflict resolution specialist. Julio has also worked in cross-discipline contracts and business development. Throughout their career, Julio has been a brand champion and ambassador.

Julio Torres attended the University of California, Berkeley, where they studied music theory and composition. Julio then attended the University of Massachusetts Amherst, where they studied physics.

Stephen Kaplan is the current COO at [Deciem](/org/deciem), and has been with the company since November of 2018. Prior to their current position, they served as Interim CFO at Stephen Kaplan from March of 2018 to November of 2018, and as CFO at DECIEM from January of 2017 to December of 2018.

At [Deciem](/org/deciem), Stephen has been responsible for complete financial processing and reporting systems, as well as a customized MRP and supply chain management system. Stephen has also been responsible for all financial and legal functions in connection with the due diligence and eventual minority investment in [Deciem](/org/deciem) by the Estee Lauder Companies. In addition, Stephen has initiated plans for a second manufacturing facility to increase production capacity.

Stephen Kaplan's educational career began with a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of the Witwatersrand in 1984. After working for a few years, they decided to return to school and complete a Bachelor of Accounting in order to become a Chartered Accountant.

Nicola Kilner was appointed CEO of [Deciem](/org/deciem) in February 2020. Nicola joined the company in 2014 as Chief operating Officer, and was responsible for overseeing all aspects of [Deciem](/org/deciem)’s operations and supply chain. Prior to joining [Deciem](/org/deciem), Ms. Kilner worked for Alliance Boots from 2008 to 2014, where they held various positions, including Buying Manager for Innovation and Project Assistant for No7. Ms. Kilner began their career at Boots in 2009 as a Team Manager in store.

Nicola Kilner has a Bachelor of Arts in Business Management from [Nottingham Trent University](/org/nottingham-trent-university).

Andriy has over 10 years of experience in the software industry and has worked as a software consultant for various companies including [Global Payments](/org/global-payments), Fluid Layout, and NUVO magazine. Andriy is an expert in website maintenance and enhancements and has helped countless businesses improve their online presence.
