Cynthia Castaldo-Walsh

Cynthia Castaldo-Walsh, PhD, has over 15 years of experience in research and mental health fields. Currently serving as a Senior Researcher at Decision Information Resources since August 2011, Cynthia has held multiple research-related positions, including Senior Research Associate and Field Manager. Prior experience includes a role as Research Assistant at Marga Incorporated, where extensive outreach and ethnographic fieldwork were conducted. Cynthia also worked as a Mental Health Therapist at Camelot Community Care, offering therapy to children and families, and as a Clinician at Lindamood-Bell Learning Processes, focusing on enhancing children's cognitive functions. Additional roles include providing counseling and case management at the Mental Health Association of Rockland and South Shore Association for Independent Living, along with crisis intervention support at Opportunities for Otsego. Academically, Cynthia earned a Ph.D. in Conflict Analysis & Resolution from Nova Southeastern University and holds an MA in Mental Health Counseling from Iona University and a BS in Psychology and Criminal Justice from SUNY Oneonta.
