David R.

David R. has extensive work experience in various technology companies. David currently holds the position of Head of Engineering at DECTA and also serves as the Chief Operating Officer at Advant Technologies. Prior to these roles, they worked as a Principal Consultant at Routed and as the Head of Infrastructure at Jaja Finance. David has also worked in roles such as DevOps Consultant at Marionete, Tech Lead Group Infrastructure and DevOps at Wonga, and Devops/Infrastructure at SnapScan. Their earlier experience includes positions as a DBA and techops at Estalea, Infrastructure/SysOps at ESET Southern Africa, and Senior DevOps at RSAWEB, where they worked for a significant period of time from 2008 to 2013.

David R. attended Northcliff High School from 2000 to 2004 and obtained a Matric Certificate. In June 2013, they obtained a certification in Infrastructure Virtualization 5 from VMware, specifically VTSP - IV.
