Matt Abid

Matt Abid has had a wide range of work experience. Matt began their career in 2000 as an Admissions Assistant at Wabash College. In 2006, they worked as a Shoe Salesmen at Tradehome Shoes and a Life Guard at Ramada Plaza Grand Rapids. In 2009, they were the Director of Youth Ministry at the Catholic Church. From 2013 to 2018, they were the Owner of Common Threads Printing and a Customer Relations Coordinator at T5 Telecom. In 2014, they were a Business Development Leader and a Summer Sales and Marketing Intern at The Building Performance Team. Since 2020, they have been a Client Success Manager, Project Coordinator, and Account Manager at Dedicated IT.

Matt Abid began their educational journey at West Catholic from 1996-2000. Matt then went on to earn a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in History from Wabash College between 2000-2004. Following that, they obtained their Master of Education (M.Ed.) in Secondary Education and Teaching from Grand Valley State University from 2006-2008. In July 2022, they obtained a Small Business Technical Overview certification from Cisco.
