Dr. Kamala Maddali added to Society for Clinical Research Sites' Oncology Board

Global medical researchers, the Society for Clinical Research Sites (SCRS), have appointed Dr. Kamala Maddali to its Oncology Board. Dr. Maddali is Vice President of Strategic Alliances at software company Deep Lens, and her appointment is effective August 12, 2020. "We are pleased to have Dr. Maddali join our board and look forward to benefiting from her extensive biotech, pharma, clinical trials, diagnostics, and life sciences experience in precision medicine," said SCRS director of innovation and engagement Jimmy Bechtel. "In light of our focus in oncology, we believe having a board member with significant leadership experience in precision medicine and a patient advocate will provide our board with a valuable perspective." Dr. Maddali has leadership experience in scientific and commercial roles for a range of Fortune 500 companies, including Merck and Co., Quintiles, and Quest Diagnostics. She has also served as an advisor to healthcare tech companies. In her role with SCRS, Dr. Maddali will serve as a member on the SCRS Global Oncology Site Solutions Summit, SCRS Oncology Education Resources, and SCRS Oncology Assessment/Engagement.
