Kristoffer Johansen

Technology Manager at DeepOcean

Kristoffer Johansen currently serves as Technology Manager and Innovation Specialist at DeepOcean, a position held since February 2019. Previously, Kristoffer was a PhD Researcher at The University of Glasgow, focusing on bubble physics from April 2015 to November 2018, and worked as a Department Engineer at Haukeland universitetssjukehus, where the cyclotron at the PET center was operated. Kristoffer's early career includes roles at EnergiRike as a student contact, contributing to events at the University of Bergen, and participation in the Norwegian Physics Council representing students in research and higher education matters. Additionally, Kristoffer held leadership positions within the student board for physics and technology students at the University of Bergen. Academic qualifications include a PhD in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from the University of Glasgow, an MSc in Physics - Acoustics, and a BSc in Physics from the University of Bergen, alongside an International Baccalaureate in Physics and Chemistry from Vardafjell Vidergående Skole.
