Akash Guru

Akash Guru is a seasoned researcher with extensive experience in neurobiology and behavior, currently serving as a Product professional at Deep Origin since 2023. Prior roles include postdoctoral fellowships at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard, where Akash focused on tools for cell-specific delivery of genes and proteins. Akash's earlier work at Cornell University as a postdoctoral associate and doctoral researcher involved significant advancements in behavioral paradigms, neural imaging, and the discovery of new models of dopamine function.
