Nimi Vashi currently serves as a Senior Scientist at Deep Origin, focusing on developing a systems model-driven approach for drug discovery since September 2023. Prior to this role, Nimi was the Lead Scientist in Therapeutics at Epinoma, where the focus was on creating first-in-class therapies targeting epigenetic regulation for challenging drug targets. Nimi's experience also includes a position as a Research Scholar at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, investigating the role of STING trafficking in cancer immunity and metastasis. Additionally, Nimi held the role of SERB National Postdoctoral Fellow at the National Institute of Immunology, characterizing signaling processes in pathogen uptake, and contributed to PhD research at ICGEB analyzing the role of Golgi-derived vesicles in phagocytosis. Academic credentials include a Postdoctoral fellowship in Cancer Immunology from Memorial Sloan Kettering, a PhD in Cell Biology and Infection Biology from ICGEB, an MSc in Biochemistry from Maharaja Sayajirao University, and a BSc in Microbiology from Sardar Patel University.
