Evgeny Dyshlyuk, PhD, is a data scientist at bp since January 2024 and concurrently serves as a machine learning researcher and MLOps engineer at Deep Planet, where significant contributions include the development of a web application for agriculture that enhances soil health using machine learning. Previously, as a machine learning engineer and data engineer at CGG, Evgeny implemented a machine learning workflow for predicting petrophysical properties and established efficient data extraction pipelines. Additional experience encompasses research roles at Imperial College London focused on enhanced oil recovery, and a substantial tenure at Schlumberger in various research scientist capacities, where Evgeny managed projects in geology and reservoir physics. Early career work included research on plasma-effect thrusters at Keldysh Research Center, culminating in a PhD in Physics from Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology.
