Paul Garver is a Partner at Deep Water Point, where they work with product clients. Paul was previously the President and CEO of Quest Software's Public Sector Group from November 2000 to August 2011. In this role, they were responsible for directing the Public Sector Group as a cleared separate business unit. Organizational responsibility components included sales, marketing, business development, technical pre-sales, professional services, channel development, contract development and marketing, and security. Sales and Marketing plans were established for Application and Database Management, Windows Management, Virtualization Management and Cloud technologies to include GTM’s for all primary marketing messages. Paul implemented overall Public Sector marketing plan to include messaging, Public Relations, trade shows, outreach programs, telemarketing, industry associations, advertising and web site promotion.

Paul established relationships with key market players to include CSC, CACI, Dell, HP, Northrop Grumman and Accenture as primary channel and alliance partners. Paul also established a two-tier distribution/reseller model for Federal and SLED markets. During their time at Quest Software, they grew revenue from $1.5M in 2000 to $115M in 2010, headcount from 4 to 155 and corporate revenue contribution from 1% to 15%. There were 16 consecutive quarters of year over year growth from 2007 to 2010. Paul implemented a Public Sector Advisory Council recruiting top industry and government executives. The group was a top performer in 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2008, 2009 and 2010 within Quest with the highest revenue performance attainment and revenue productivity per field headcount.

Paul established a Public Sector subsidiary and gained Top Secret Facility Clearance from DSS.
