To that end, we build a cutting-edge software suite that connects all clinical research stakeholders, from research teams to treating physicians, patients, and study sponsors on a real-time, real-world data SaaS platform, powered by AI.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Machine Learning Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about leveraging their technical skills in a purpose-driven environment to improve healthcare outcomes. 

What You'll Do

  • Lead the design, development, and deployment of machine learning models( BERT + LLM ) into real-world production applications.
  • Implement and maintain ML pipelines, ensuring scalability and efficiency.
  • Analyze and manipulate raw data formats (FHIR, JSON, CSV) for ML model training and deployment.
  • Utilize AWS services for various data engineering and machine learning tasks.
  • Assist in data ingestion(ie. flow from raw data to Elasticsearch documents) and processing of streaming data through ML models.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and meet data requirements.
  • Ensure the integrity, availability, and privacy of data in line with industry standards.

About You

  • 5+ years of experience in software engineering, machine learning, and deploying models into production.

  • Strong programming skills in Python, Kotlin/Java, or Scala with a deep understanding of object-oriented programming principles.

  • Extensive experience with distributed computing systems (we use AWS).

  • Familiarity with AWS services like Lambda, S3, ECS.

  • Experience with microservices and event-driven systems.

  • Familiarity with search engines (ideally Lucene-based, like Elasticsearch).

  • Expert in deploying machine learning models, especially BERT models and LLMs, into production environments.

  • High-level understanding of machine learning models, pipelines, training, and deployment.

  • Strong communication skills and ability to articulate complex technical concepts.

  • Eager learner and self-starter, with an inclination towards problem-solving.

  • Ability to work remotely and collaborate with a distributed team.

Nice To Have Experience

  • HealthTech or working with healthcare-related data (HL7v2, FHIR) is a significant advantage.
