Itay Gabbay

Itay Gabbay's work experience includes being a VP R&D at deepchecks since November 2019, where they developed a Python package for validating machine learning models and data efficiently. Prior to that, they worked at J6 & Cyber Defense Directorate, IDF, starting in March 2013. At this company, they held multiple roles including ML Team Lead, Engineering Team Lead, and Full Stack Engineer. As an ML Team Lead, they were responsible for designing and developing an AutoML platform, including ML pipeline generation, hyperparameter tuning algorithms, and model deployment.

Itay Gabbay completed a Master of Science (MS) in Software and Information Systems Engineering at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev from 2018 to 2020. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Computer Science from The College of Management Academic Studies between 2015 and 2018.
