About the role

You will be part of a team of Data Scientists and Software Engineers, helping to develop production-level software for the deployment and application of Artificial Intelligence solutions. We’ll need you to:

• Read and understand feature and functional requirements

• Follow established software development methodologies

• Write high-quality code to help solve tough AI problems

• Learn new skills and develop technical proficiency to tackle challenges as they arise in our broad range of projects

• Create infrastructure and tooling to improve interactions with the AI model

• Ensure the stability and maintainability of the codebase across the lifespan of the project

About you

We are looking for someone with the right mindset and attitude. You don’t have to be an exact match for the specific technologies we use, you just need a willingness to find, learn and use the right tool for the job.

We’re looking for:

• Degree level qualifications in a Software Engineering related discipline or proven experience and capability in a similar role.

• Good foundational knowledge of a modern high-level language (Python, Go, Java, C++)

• Commitment to producing and maintaining high quality code with lots of “ilities” (maintainability, testability, reusability etc.)

• Understanding that testing, deploying and maintaining features is as important as developing them

• The ability to ask questions when you don’t know something

• An appreciation and enjoyment of the uncertainty that accompanies rapid project-based development

***We encourage graduates to apply who have completed an internships or placement. 

Bonus points for cloud knowledge, Docker skills, Python and industrial Software Engineering experience.
