João Costa

João Costa has a diverse work experience in the field of technology and artificial intelligence. João started their career at MFC2 Moldes as a Computer Aided Design Support, where they provided assistance in 2D and 3D drawing of plastic injection moulds and maintained the archive and database. Later, they joined Fraunhofer Portugal AICOS as a Research Assistant, where they worked from February 2019 to July 2019 and then again from July 2018 to October 2018. João then progressed to the role of Junior Scientist from September 2019 to August 2020 and eventually became a Scientist from August 2020 to March 2022. After this, João joined Visor.ai as an Analyst of Artificial Intelligence from April 2022 to March 2023. Currently, they are working as a Machine Learning Software Engineer at Deeper Insights, starting from March 2023.

João Costa obtained their Masters in Bioengineering from Faculdade de Engenharia da Universidade do Porto. João pursued this degree from 2012 to 2019, specializing in the field of Biomedical Engineering.
