Andi Shehu

Andi Shehu, PhD, is a seasoned expert in data science and AI/ML with extensive experience in academia and industry. Currently serving as a Data Scientist at DeepIntent and an Adjunct for GenAI Initiatives at New York University, Andi evaluates and develops custom solutions in research, instruction, and administration. Previously, as the GenAI Initiatives Lead at Byteflow Dynamics, leadership in data science and business development initiatives was demonstrated, with a focus on the marketing and advertising sectors. During a tenure at Microsoft as a Senior AI Research Scientist, Andi developed innovative data-driven methodologies and evaluated alternative data for product enhancement. Earlier roles included Director of Data Science at Byteflow Dynamics and Data Science training roles at Columbia University and The Graduate Center, City University of New York, emphasizing AI training for research scientists. Andi holds a PhD in Physics from The Graduate Center, City University of New York, and a BA/MA in Mathematics and Physics from Hunter College.
