Thomas (Tom) Doyle is currently a student at the Defence Academy of the United Kingdom since September 2022 and has been serving in the British Army since April 2014. Thomas (Tom)'s roles have included Company Commander and Platoon Commander during Officer Phase 1 Training, as well as Adjutant, where Thomas (Tom) managed personnel discipline, health, and career management within the 28 Engineer Regiment. Thomas has also served as Squadron Operations Officer, overseeing combat and artisan training for an Armoured Engineer Squadron, and as Company Second in Command for a Training Company, coordinating training across multiple junior soldier platoons. Additionally, Thomas (Tom) has experience as a Platoon Commander at the British Army's training establishment for under 18 recruits and as Troop Commander for 61 Field Support Squadron. Thomas holds a Bachelor’s Degree in War Studies from the University of Kent and completed the Regular Commissioning Course at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst.
