Stuart Carr

Stuart Carr is a seasoned commercial professional with extensive experience in the defense sector. Currently serving as a Senior Commercial Manager at Defence Equipment & Support (DE&S) since November 2020, Stuart leads a team providing commercial support for key Army projects. Prior to this role, Stuart held the position of Commercial Policy Manager at the UK Ministry of Defence, focusing on tendering and evaluation policy. Stuart's career at DE&S began in April 2009, progressing from Commercial Officer to Senior Commercial Officer, where responsibilities included managing high-value contracts and developing sourcing strategies to fulfill military requirements. Stuart holds a Bachelor of Arts in History from Swansea University, obtained between 2003 and 2006.
