Anthony Mitchell is an experienced professional in the field of chemical weapons and treaty compliance, currently serving as the Lead Treaty Compliance Specialist at the Defense Threat Reduction Agency since January 2019. In this role, Anthony manages a six-person treaty escort branch and oversees the support activities for international inspectors. Previously, Anthony worked with the Bluegrass Chemical Activity as an Inventory Management Specialist and as a Victim Advocate, contributing to chemical munitions accountability and inspections. Additional experience includes roles as a Toxic Material Handler/Inspector and Explosives Material Handler/Inspector, along with eight years of military service in the US Army. Anthony is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Homeland Security at American Military University.
