Sara Peacock

Sara Peacock is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the field of scientific and technical management, currently serving as a Senior Science and Technology Manager for Hazard Assessment at the Defense Threat Reduction Agency since January 2015. In this role, Sara operates within the Advanced & Emerging Threats Division, focusing on chemical and biological technologies. Prior to this position, Sara was a Senior Professional Scientist at CSC, where leadership and team management were key responsibilities, supporting financial and programmatic aspects of a technical division. Earlier career experiences include serving as an Analyst/Scientist at Bull & Associates, contributing to the Department of Defense's science and technology initiatives in chemical and biological defense, and working as a Scientist at Defense Group Inc. Sara holds a Master of Science in Agricultural and Environmental Education and a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science, both degrees obtained from West Virginia University.
