Jonathan Bristow has over 16 years of professional experience in software engineering, development, and webmaster roles. In 2020, they began working as a Senior Software Engineer for DefenseStorm. From 2018-2020, they were a Staff DevSecOps Engineer and Senior DevSecOps Engineer at Intuit. In 2017, they were a Senior Cloud Software Engineer at Teradata, where they were an agile evangelist and performed general programming, AWS lambda, and sysadmin work. From 2013-2017, they were a Senior Software Engineer and Senior Software Engineer in Quality at Intuit, where they wrote a Java webservice, participated in code reviews, and maintained and refactored a Clojure web service. In 2012, they were the Lead Software Developer at Leadfusion, where they developed whole stack solutions with Spring 3, JPA/Hibernate, Javascript, and ORACLE. From 2010-2012, they were a Senior Software Developer at SkyCreek Corporation, where they developed and maintained an ETL system in Java and created automated test data. In 2009, they were a Senior Java Developer at Fairway Technologies, where they developed applications in Seam/Facelets, participated in an agile environment, and consulted on projects. From 2007-2009, they were a Software Engineer at TraceSecurity, where they designed and developed applications in Java/JSP/SQL and improved user experience with AJAX and the jQuery JavaScript framework. From 2006-2007, they were a Software Engineer at Enterprise Media Networks (EMN8), where they created and maintained 3-tiered enterprise applications and oversaw the creation of DML and INI files. Finally, from 2004-2006, they were the Webmaster at MARCOA Publishing, where they created and maintained the business logic and database for commercial real estate listing guides.
