Bora Yucel

Bora Yucel has extensive work experience in the telecommunications industry. Bora most recently served as the COO at DefensX (Isoolate) since 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Ericsson from 2020 to 2022 as the COO Managed Services & Delivery, where they were responsible for network rollout, field operations, IT application development, and automation projects.

From 2019 to 2019, Bora was the VP of Network Operations at TDC Group, overseeing the operations of the fixed and mobile networks. Bora implemented various transformations and developed strategies for digital network operations.

At Vodafone, Bora held two roles from 2015 to 2019, serving as the Network Rollout and Operations Director and later as the Network Operations Director. Bora managed network operations, rollout projects, and a large team of engineers.

Before Vodafone, Bora founded and served as the CEO of DUME-TECH A.Ş., a software development and test automation company. Bora also worked at Turkcell in various roles related to network operations, project management, and new technology deployment. Additionally, they have previous experience at Mobilink, Alcatel Belgium, and Nortel Netas with positions in technical and research and development roles.

Bora Yucel's education history begins in 1989 when they attended Eskisehir Fatih Fen Lisesi. Bora completed their studies there and obtained a degree, achieving the 3rd Rank. Following this, from 1992 to 1996, Bora attended Istanbul Technical University where they pursued Electronics&Telecom as their field of study. Bora then furthered their education at Boğaziçi University from 1996 to 1999, earning a Master's degree in Electrical&Electronics. Lastly, Bora Yucel also attended Küçahya Anadolu Lisesi, but the specific years and field of study are not mentioned. Nevertheless, they achieved the 2nd Rank at this institution.
