Barnabas(Bernabe) Perez

Barnabas Perez has a diverse work experience in various industries, showcasing their expertise in artificial intelligence, sales automation, and product development. Barnabas(Bernabe) currently holds the position of Director of AI and ML at Defined.ai, a leading online marketplace for AI creators. Prior to this, they served as the Director of Artificial Intelligence at TransPerfect, where they focused on collecting and annotating data to enhance AI systems. Barnabas(Bernabe) also worked as the Go-to Market Strategist and Director of Sales at Lead Engines, specializing in lead generation for B2B organizations.

In the healthcare sector, Barnabas was the Co-Founder and Managing Director of Sales at Medspace, a platform that utilized AI algorithms and telemedicine to improve the patient journey. Barnabas(Bernabe) also held roles at Coleman Lab, where they worked on wireless technology development, and BABL, where they contributed to the development of technologies to uncover fetal alcohol spectrum disorders.

Barnabas began their career as a Research Scientist at UC Los Angeles, where they studied molecular drug bindings using the DARTS method. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated a strong understanding of AI, sales strategies, product development, and healthcare technology.

Barnabas (Bernabe) Perez completed their education from 2009 to 2013 at Warren High School, where they obtained their high school diploma. Following this, from 2013 to 2017, Barnabas attended UC San Diego, specializing in the field of Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering. As of January 2018, they also obtained the certification of being a Certified ST Engineering Partner from ST Engineering.
