David Samuels

David Samuels is the Chief Legal Officer for Definitive Healthcare. In this role, David is responsible for the company’s legal and data privacy functions and serves as the Corporation’s Secretary.

David brings 25 years of experience leading legal, corporate development and other functions at entrepreneurially focused private and publicly traded companies. Prior to joining Definitive Healthcare, David held leadership roles at ReferalMob, EnerNOC, Interactions, Guardent (a company he co-founded), and i-Cube. He has also served on the boards of directors of several venture-backed start-ups. David graduated from Brandeis University and received his JD from Northeastern Law School, where he was chosen to deliver the valedictorian address.
