Elena Peacock

Director, Claims Customer Care at Definity

Elena Peacock has extensive work experience in various roles within the insurance industry. Elena is currently the Director of Claims Customer Care at Definity Financial since January 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Claims Manager at Intact from July 2021 to January 2022. From December 2019 to June 2021, Elena was the Director of Operational Excellence at RSA Canada. Elena also took a sabbatical for wellness and travel from 2018 to 2019.

During their time at Johnson Inc., Elena held multiple leadership positions, including Director of Customer Care Centre, Vice President of Atlantic Home-Auto Region and National Contact Centre, and Director of National Claims Operations. Elena was responsible for achieving productivity, sales, and customer targets, developing and implementing operational plans, and managing claims teams.

Earlier in their career, Elena served as the Head of Claims at RSA Assicurazioni and the Chief Internal Auditor at RSA Canada. In these roles, they focused on managing claims operations and conducting risk-based audits.

Before joining RSA Canada, Elena held various roles within Internal Audit since 1986. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated leadership capabilities, strategic thinking, and a strong focus on delivering results.

Elena Peacock holds a Bachelor's degree in French Language and Literature from the University of Toronto. Elena also pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Schulich School of Business at York University.
