Isabel Morriss is a Senior Assistant Economist at the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs since January 2024, with prior experience as an Assistant Economist at the Health and Safety Executive and the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS). In previous roles, Isabel contributed to socio-economic analysis for UK REACH restrictions, led the economic business case for the £500 million Covid Loan Book, and assessed bids for the £5 billion Levelling Up Fund while on secondment. Additional experience includes strategic workforce planning at the Department of Health and Social Care, communications support at DCMS, and various roles at Asda and blue{shift} creative coding and education. Isabel holds a BSc in Economics with Econometrics from Goldsmiths, University of London.
