Darius Garland

Darius Garland has a diverse work experience in the cybersecurity industry. Darius is currently working as a Sr. Solutions Architect at Defy Security, where they provide cybersecurity consulting, integration, operational support, and product resell services. Prior to this, Darius worked as the Director of NA Sales Engineering at Seraphic Security for a brief period. Before that, they held the position of Senior Sales Engineer at Proofpoint from 2020 to 2022. From 2017 to 2020, Darius worked as a Sr. Sales Engineer at Agari. Darius also worked at Imperva as a Sr. Sales Engineer from 2013 to 2017, and at Symantec in the IIP division as a Sr. Systems Engineer (Pre-Sales) from 2012 to 2013. Additionally, Darius has experience working at Trend Micro as a Global Solutions Architect from 2011 to 2012, at Varonis as a Systems Engineer from 2008 to 2011, at Entrust as a Sales Engineer from 2006 to 2008, and at GeoTrust as a Sr. Sales Engineer for a brief period in 2006.

Darius Garland pursued their education at Columbia College Chicago, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Marketing from 1993 to 1997. Additionally, they also earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Film/Producing from the same institution between 2003 and 2007.
