Kevin Hsieh

Kevin Hsieh has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Kevin is currently serving as a Sr. Solutions Architect at Defy Security, where they work with clients and various team members to design and develop solutions for their business needs in the cyber security domain.

Before that, Kevin worked as a Consulting Systems Engineer at World Wide Technology, where they provided expertise and support to customers in implementing and utilizing technology solutions.

Prior to that, they held multiple roles at Cisco, including Sr. Systems Engineer in both the North TX Enterprise and Xerox/Atos divisions. In these roles, Kevin was responsible for pre-sales engineering and providing technical guidance to customers from various industries, such as Oil & Gas, Healthcare, and Commercial Real Estate Services. Kevin was also involved in coaching and strategizing with account managers to drive results.

Prior to their time at Cisco, Kevin worked as a Sr. Systems Engineer at Verizon Wireless Core Region, where they specialized in data centers and collaborated with other engineers to provide comprehensive solutions to customers. Kevin also served as a Lead Engineer at Verizon IT Region, focusing on advanced technologies including VoIP and Next Generation Contact Centers.

Kevin's early career includes roles as a Consulting Systems Engineer at Verizon Operation and Greenfield Area, where they led various voice technology projects and RFP/RFI activities.

Before joining Verizon, Kevin worked at Nortel Networks as a Technical Lead, where they led a team in developing CLEC business cases and network designs. Kevin also worked as a Sr. Software Engineer at Nortel.

Kevin began their career at Texas A&M University as a Shorebased System Manager for the Ocean Drilling Program.

Throughout their career, Kevin has demonstrated a strong technical background and expertise in various aspects of technology and engineering. Kevin has consistently proven himself as a trusted advisor to clients, providing valuable solutions and guidance.

Kevin Hsieh holds a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from Texas A&M University. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications Engineering at National Chiao Tung University. In addition to their formal education, Kevin has obtained several certifications including SentinelOne Partner Tech Accreditation 301 and 201, Netscope Cloud Security Specialist, Zscaler Certified Sales Professional and Engineer, Deepwatch Expert Engineer Program - Certified Engineer (DEEP-ce), Palo Alto Networks Systems Engineer (PSE)- Foundation, CCNP - DC, Cisco Cyber Security Specialist, and Cisco Industrial Networking Specialist.
