John Garofolo

John Garofolo is the current Chief Financial Officer at Defy Ventures. Prior to joining Defy Ventures, John served as a Senior Executive Consultant at Shepherd Partners, Inc., where they provided interim CFO roles and turnaround advisory services. John has also worked as a Principal at Drake Star Partners (formerly Gemini Partners), where they provided investment banking services, and as a Senior Manager at IBM Global Services - Business Strategy Group. John began their career at Ernst & Young, where they spent 10 years as a Manager.

John Garofolo has an MBA from Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management, and also studied international business as an exchange student at IE Business School. John also has a BSBA in accounting from Bucknell University.
