Gowna Mohanasundaram

Gowna Mohanasundaram is a Machine Learning Engineer currently working at DeGirum Corp. since June 2023. Previously, Gowna served as an AI Machine Learning Engineer at Zee Entertainment Enterprises Limited, where efforts were made to optimize personalized recommendation metrics for the ZEE5 OTT platform. Experience includes roles at Fynd, where Gowna implemented object detection models to analyze customer behavior, and at Quantiphi, where Gowna developed end-to-end facial recognition systems and advertisement tracking prototypes. Early experiences include internships at the Indian Institute of Science, where Gowna published research on regression algorithms, and the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, involving PCB design. Gowna holds a Professional Certificate in Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence from UC Berkeley College of Engineering and a Bachelor of Technology in Electronics and Communications Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Calicut.
