Taylor Downes

Taylor Downes has a diverse work experience in product design and design education. They started working at The Star Entertainment Group in 2016, where they facilitated a workshop. From 2015 to 2017, Taylor served as a TARMAC Council Member at the Design Institute of Australia, helping design students transition into professional practice. They then joined Adepto in 2016 as a Product Designer, focusing on creating a total talent ecosystem for companies. More recently, Taylor joined Degreed in 2020 as a Product Designer, contributing to the development of an upskilling platform that connects learning to career opportunities.

Taylor Downes began their education at Anglican Church Grammar School (Churchie) in 2004 and completed their schooling in 2010. Afterward, they pursued a Diploma of Design & Technology at Southbank Institute of Technology from 2011 to 2012. Taylor then furthered their education at QUT (Queensland University of Technology) from 2013 to 2016, where they obtained a Bachelor's Honours Degree in Industrial and Interior Design.
