Roland Bastiaansen

Roland Bastiaansen is an accomplished entrepreneur and executive with extensive experience in the IT and e-commerce sectors. Currently serving as (co) Founder, Chief Futurist, and Chair at DEITY since April 2022, Roland Bastiaansen also owns Salvare, where involvement spans over two decades, focusing on IT, communication, and e-commerce solutions. Previous roles include Founder and CEO of Dare.IT from 2011 to 2022, as well as Founder and CEO of Docdata Commerce from 2000 to 2011, where contributions aided prominent brands such as Ferrari, HP, and Zalando. Additional experience includes key positions at Best2Serve.com, Ferraristore.com, WorldOnline International, and Audax. Roland Bastiaansen holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering & Management from Fontys University of Applied Sciences and has pursued further education at HKU.
