Christopher Yaen

Christopher Yaen has over twenty-nine years of experience in the legal and scientific fields. From 1992 to 1996, they worked as a Student Researcher/Laboratory Technician at the National Institutes of Health. Christopher then worked as a Research Associate at Thomas Jefferson University from 1996 to 2001. From 2001 to 2010, they worked as a Primary Patent Examiner and Patent Examiner at the USPTO. From 2010 to 2015, they worked as an Associate and Patent Law Clerk at Hunton & Williams LLP. Most recently, they have been working as General Counsel at Deka Biosciences, Inc. since 2021.

Christopher Yaen has a diverse educational background. Christopher completed their J.D. at Georgetown University Law Center from 2007 to 2010. Prior to that, they earned an M.S. in Biomedical Chemistry from Thomas Jefferson University Hospitals from 1999 to 2001. Christopher obtained a B.S. in Neurobiology and Physiology from the University of Maryland from 1992 to 1996, and they attended Georgetown Preparatory School from 1988 to 1992.
