Pooja Bhandiwad

Pooja Bhandiwad is a Systems Engineer at DEKA Research & Development since March 2023, previously serving as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University at Buffalo, where work focused on quantifying the lymphocytic host immune response in Early Stage Oral Cavity Cancer. Pooja's experience includes an internship at DEKA Research & Development that involved designing an automated test procedure for a novel infusion pump, as well as Quality Assurance activities. Prior roles include an Associate position in Machine Learning at Sprinklr and a Research Internship at the University of Agricultural Sciences in Bangalore, where genomic DNA was analyzed from capsicum species. Pooja holds a Master's degree in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from the University at Buffalo and a Bachelor of Technology in Biotechnology from PES University.
