Sam Whitmore

Sam Whitmore is an accomplished Control Systems Engineer at DEKA Research & Development since September 2020, specializing in the development of embedded software algorithms for advanced medical devices. With a strong foundation in computational analysis, Sam previously collaborated at NASA Ames Research Center as an Aerothermodynamics Intern, validating CFD modules related to plasma physics. Sam's academic background includes a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Vermont and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of New Hampshire. Additionally, Sam has experience in teaching, research, and various engineering internships, including roles focused on manufacturing engineering and construction management.
