Mike Bona-Stecki

Mike Bona-Stecki has an extensive work experience in the field of information security and business continuity management. Mike most recently served as the Head of Information Security and Business Continuity Management at DekaBank Deutsche Girozentrale starting from August 2020. Prior to that, they held the position of Manager/Auditor Information Security at the same company from January 2018 to July 2020.

Before joining DekaBank, Mike worked as a Lecturer in Information Security at Berufsakademie Rhein-Main (University of Cooperative Education) from January 2015, and they continue to hold this position presently.

Previously, Mike served as an IT Internal Auditor at Sparkasse Langen-Seligenstadt from September 2011 to December 2017.

Their career started at the Fraunhofer Institute for Secure Information Technology SIT, where they worked as a Bachelor-Student from August 2008 to September 2011.

Before entering the private sector, Mike held the role of Senior Manager Information Security at Bundeswehr from January 2000 to August 2008.

Mike Bona-Stecki completed their Bachelor of Science in Wirtschaftsinformatik from Berufsakademie Rhein-Main (University of Cooperative Education) in 2011. Mike further pursued their education and obtained a Master of Science in IT-Governance, Risk- and Compliancemanagement from Albstadt-Sigmaringen University between 2015 and 2021.
