Gabor Orszag

Gabor Orszag is an experienced Portfolio Manager at Deka Investment since February 2016, following a role as Head of Development for the Open Portfolio Project where Gabor designed scalable IT solutions for digital wealth management. Previous experience includes Project Manager at LumenLabs, focusing on automatic customer portfolio construction, and various positions at Deka Investment GmbH from 2007 to 2014, which involved advanced portfolio and risk management as well as software engineering. Gabor has a strong academic background, holding a Ph.D. in Geological and Earth Sciences with a focus on Meteorology from Goethe University Frankfurt and a Diploma in the same field from Eötvös Loránd University. Early career experience includes work as a Research Associate at Deutscher Wetterdienst and consulting in scientific computing.
