Christophe Cubat

Christophe Cubat, PhD has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Christophe currently holds the position of Lead Solution Architect at DEKRA, where they are responsible for designing and developing the overall technology strategy and platform architecture for digital platforms. Christophe also plays a key role in co-developing architectural and governance standards.

Christophe has previously worked as a Technology Advisor, helping companies tackle scalability for their development teams and technology stack. Christophe has also served as the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at Incubhealth, where they evaluated projects for technical feasibility and complexity, and provided senior advisory for ongoing projects.

Before that, Christophe worked as the CTO at Mediktiv, a Health SaaS solution company. In this role, they enabled the product and research team to deliver various technological features and solutions, including multi-region active-active product infrastructure, kappa big data architecture, MicroService Business Layer, and New generation Frontend layer.

Prior to this, they were the CTO at TMC Spain, where they focused on identifying and developing rare skills for the company's future needs. Christophe was also involved in introducing new technologies such as Machine Learning, Serverless, Micro Service, Orchestration, Chatbots, and Blockchain.

Christophe's work experience also includes founding and leading Smoobility as the CEO/CTO. Christophe was responsible for company building and running, product strategy, financial strategy and fundraising, technical roadmap strategy, and solution architecture design.

Additionally, they have worked as a Consultant in Innovation at First Step EU, where they were involved in executing and industrializing innovation projects. Christophe was also responsible for developing innovation ideas, coordinating international projects, and creating consortiums.

Christophe's earlier roles include working as an Innovative Bid & Program Manager at Thales, an IT Security Consultant at Sogeti High Tech, and as a Co-Creator at FittingBox.

Throughout their career, Christophe has demonstrated expertise in a range of technologies and platforms, including AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, Symfony2.0, AngularJS, and more.

Christophe Cubat obtained a PhD in Computer Science - Distributed Systems from Toulouse INP, where they studied from 2001 to 2005. In 2015, they attended IESE Business School to pursue a program in Scale-up for Entrepreneurs, focusing on Entrepreneurship/Entrepreneurial Studies. Christophe also received certification as an AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate from Amazon Web Services in September 2016.
