Matteo Costa

Matteo Costa serves as the Regional HR Director for Central East Europe & Middle East at DEKRA since December 2023, overseeing HR strategy for 2,500 employees across 33 countries. Prior to this, Matteo held the position of Iberia HR Director at BAT from January 2020 to December 2023, where responsibilities included shaping HR strategies across multiple countries and leading a team of HR specialists. Matteo also served as Head of HR for various regions and markets within BAT and Whirlpool EMEA, focusing on strategic HR operations and team management. Additionally, Matteo has experience as a HR Business Partner at Vodafone and began professional training as an HR Generalist at Johnson & Johnson. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Work and Organization Psychology and an Executive Master in HR Professional, along with a four-year specialization in Brief Strategic Psychotherapy.
