Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Hardware System Validation Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for product-level system testing of consumer electronics, ensuring the seamless integration of various hardware components and subsystems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • System Validation: Conduct comprehensive product-level system validation for consumer electronics, focusing on the integration of various hardware components.
  • Test Plan Development: Develop and execute test plans to validate coexistence and interoperability between subsystems, including wireless communication, audio systems (speakers and microphones), displays, and other key components.
  • Hardware & Electrical Engineering: Utilize hardware and electrical engineering knowledge to assess and ensure the proper functioning of integrated components.
  • Software & Firmware: Employ basic software (SW) and firmware (FW) skills to assist in system-level validation and troubleshooting.
  • Lab Instrumentation: Operate and maintain lab instruments, including oscilloscopes, signal generators, spectrum analyzers, and other relevant equipment, to support testing activities.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyze test results, identify issues, and work closely with cross-functional teams to resolve them. Provide detailed reports and documentation of findings.
  • Continuous Improvement: Proactively suggest improvements in test methodologies and procedures to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the validation process.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of hardware and electrical engineering principles.
  • Experience with developing and executing test plans for system integration and coexistence.
  • Basic proficiency in software and firmware for validation and troubleshooting purposes.
  • Hands-on experience with lab instruments such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and signal generators.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with wireless communication protocols (e.g., Wi-Fi, Bluetooth), audio/camera/display systems, and their coexistence with other subsystems.
  • Familiarity with audio systems, including speakers and microphones, in consumer electronics.
  • Proficiency with interfaces such as PCIe, USB, and other high-speed communication protocols.
  • Knowledge of automated testing frameworks and tools.
