Stephen Culp

Co-Founder, Executive Chairman at Delegator

Stephen Culp has an extensive career in the business world. Stephen began their career in 1998 as the Founder and Chairman of Smart Furniture, a company that pioneered online "Design on Demand" and mass customization through the web's first e-commerce-enabled, drag & drop design tools. In 2005, they became a Strategic Advisor, Investor, and Assistant (to the) General Manager at Karen Culp Photography + Design. In 2007, they co-founded CF Smackdown: End Cystic Fibrosis This Decade. In 2009, they co-founded Delegator, a digital advertising agency focusing on online advertising, conversion and analytics services, as well as technical due diligence, with a specialty in e-commerce. Stephen then served as Co-Founder and CEO of Smart Furniture. In 2011, they co-founded ProDiligence, a technical due diligence company, and became a General Partner at the Chattanooga Renaissance Fund. Stephen also became a Board Member and Seed Investor at Variable Technologies LLC. In 2015, they co-founded S Ventures, and in 2016 they became a Mentor and Investor at the Dynamo Accelerator and Fund. Stephen is currently the Co-Founder and CEO of PriceWaiter.

Stephen Culp began their educational journey at the Bolles School, where they obtained their High School degree in 1987. Stephen then attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, graduating with a BA in Geography and International Studies in 1991. During their time at UNC, they also studied European Politics at Sciences Po and Demography at Universite de Paris VII. Culp then attended Stanford Law School, where they obtained their JD in 1997. During their time at Stanford, they were also a Graduate Fellow at the Stanford Center for Conflict and Negotiation, researching hostage crises, radicalism, and terrorism. In 1998, Culp obtained their license to practice law from the California Bar. In 2007, they attended the University of Michigan - Stephen M. Ross School of Business, where they completed an Executive Education Program in Marketing. Finally, in 2016, Culp attended the Harvard Business School Young American Leaders Program. Additionally, Culp holds a Black Belt in Tang Soo Do, which they obtained in 1985.
