Raymon Shackelford is currently the Director of Workplace and Facilities at Delfi Diagnostics. Prior to this, they worked as the Director of Operations at JLL from November 2015 to June 2022. Before that, they worked as an Associate Project Manager Translational Medicine at MedImmune from January 2014 to November 2015 where they were responsible for creating and managing timelines for multiple projects at various stages from phase 0 through phase 4. Raymon also identified, selected, and managed CRO's, reviewed protocols, led project teams, managed change orders, and project closeout activities. In addition, they negotiated contracts, managed capacity, and updated stakeholders. From August 2008 to September 2012, Raymon was a Research Associate Project Manager at MedImmune Vaccines, Inc. In this role, they were responsible for conducting vaccine research studies in accordance with GCP/ICH guidelines and maintaining study documentation. Raymon also coordinated study start-up activities with CROs, monitored study progress, and ensured regulatory compliance. Prior to that, from October 2002 to July 2008, Raymon worked as a Planner at Thermo Fisher Scientific. In this role, they created production plans for the manufacture of enzymes and other products. Raymon also scheduled production runs, coordinated the procurement of raw materials, and tracked inventory levels. From January 1996 to December 2000, Raymon worked as a Network Sales representative at Dade Behring. In this role, they sold diagnostic products to hospitals and clinics in the greater Los Angeles area. Prior to that, from January 1994 to December 1995, Raymon worked as a Project Manager at RSTL Consulting. In this role, they managed the construction of a new manufacturing facility in Irvine, California.
Raymon Shackelford first attended Morehouse College where they majored in business. Raymon then went on to San Jose State University to earn their MBA. After working in the business world for a few years, they decided to go back to school and earn their PMP from UC Santa Cruz. Raymon is currently certified in unconscious bias from LinkedIn.
