Your Impact

We're ​looking for a Junior Financial Operations Coordinator to join the finance team in ​Mexico City and support our team in day-to-day activities for a duration of 6 months. We welcome entry-level applicants who just graduated.

A Typical Day

  • Update and Correct Billing Information
  • Ensure customer billing information is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Address and rectify any discrepancies in billing data.
  • Collaborate with Customer Success and Support Teams
  • Work closely with these teams to handle customer escalations related to billing issues.
  • Provide support and solutions for any billing-related concerns reported by customers.
  • Ensure Timely and Accurate Invoicing
  • Verify that invoices are generated and sent to customers on time.
  • Ensure that all invoices are correct and reflect the appropriate charges.
  • Update Product Plans and Pricing
  • Maintain and update product plans and prices in the billing system.
  • Ensure that changes are accurately reflected in customer accounts.
  • Escalate Issues in Billing System Automation
  • Identify and escalate any issues observed in the billing system's automated processes.
  • Work towards resolving these issues to maintain smooth billing operations.

Your Expertise

  • Field of study: Finance, business administration, MBA or similar
  • Language: English is a must, any other language is a plus
  • Attention to Detail: Ensuring billing information is accurate and invoices are correct requires a high level of precision.
  • Communication Skills: Working closely with the Customer Success and Support teams and addressing customer escalations about billing issues requires clear, effective, and empathetic communication skills.
  • Problem-Solving Abilities: Dealing with escalations and discrepancies in billing often involves diagnosing and resolving complex issues quickly and efficiently.
  • Familiarity with Billing Systems (not a must but a nice to have): Knowledge of how to navigate and update billing systems, including adjusting plans and prices, is essential. Experience with Chargebee and Netsuite is plus
  • Time Management: Prioritizing tasks and managing deadlines is key to maintaining efficiency and customer satisfaction.
