Your Impact 

As a Sales Development Representative (SDR) at Deliverect, you will play a critical role in driving our growth and success in the UK and Ireland markets. You will be the first point of contact for potential customers, introducing them to our solutions and establishing strong relationships. Your efforts will directly impact our sales pipeline, helping us reach new heights in the food tech industry.

A Typical Day

  • Leverage various prospecting tools like ZoomInfo, Leadfeeder, and SalesNav to identify high-potential merchant leads.
  • Craft compelling cold call scripts and email sequences to engage key decision-makers at restaurants, grocery chains, and food service providers.
  • Conduct high-volume outbound outreach via phone, email, and video calls to generate initial interest in Deliverect's solutions.
  • Attend relevant industry events and trade shows to network and identify potential partners.
  • Foster strong relationships with new and existing leads, actively listening to their unique challenges and pain points.
  • Translate customer needs into tailored solutions, demonstrating how Deliverect streamlines online ordering, simplifies operations, and boosts revenue.
  • Schedule personalised demo calls with Account Executives, ensuring a smooth transition into the sales cycle.
  • Manage the initial stages of the sales pipeline, qualifying leads based on predefined criteria and industry best practices.
  • Collaborate closely with Account Executives, Marketing, and Partnerships to refine prospecting strategies, maximise lead conversion rates, and identify promising opportunities.
  • Utilize HubSpot CRM to effectively track lead interactions, record sales activities, and measure campaign performance.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of Deliverect's product offerings, including online ordering integrations, menu management tools, and data analytics capabilities.
  • Stay abreast of competitor solutions and industry trends, refining sales pitches and presentations accordingly.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to optimise lead nurturing processes and develop targeted communication strategies for different customer segments.
  • Set and achieve ambitious goals for lead generation and qualification, exceeding expectations on a weekly and monthly basis.
  • Utilize data from HubSpot and sales pipeline reports to track progress, identify improvement opportunities, and adapt strategies for continuous growth.
  • Provide regular performance updates to the Sales Manager, fostering an open and collaborative work environment.

Your Expertise

  • 1-2 years of B2B Lead Generation experience with a proven track record of exceeding sales targets.
  • Prior experience in a high-volume outbound calling environment is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and connect with diverse personalities.
  • Strong problem-solving and active listening skills to understand customer challenges and tailor presentations accordingly.
  • Tech-savvy with a knack for mastering new sales tools and technologies. (e.g., HubSpot, ZoomInfo, SalesNav)
  • Exceptional time management and organisational capabilities to handle competing priorities and deadlines efficiently.
  • Data-driven mindset with a desire to analyse performance metrics and continuously improve prospecting techniques.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of the hospitality and/or SaaS industry is highly desirable.
  • Understanding of restaurant and retail technology trends is a bonus.

Additional Information

  • Hybrid role with a flexible work schedule, offering 4 days in our central London office and 1 day of remote work.

  • Fluency in English is required, with strong written and verbal communication skills essential. Fluency in a second European language (e.g., French, Dutch, Spanish, German) is a strong asset.
