Stefan Boyd

Stefan Boyd has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over two decades. Stefan began their career as a Structural Engineer at General Dynamics, where they were involved in nuclear submarine design. Stefan later joined Kvaerner Philadelphia as an Engineering Team Leader.

In 2003, Stefan Boyd transitioned to Amazon, where they held several positions of increasing responsibility. Stefan started as a Senior Financial Analyst, overseeing the performance of multiple fulfillment centers. Stefan then became the Finance Manager of FP&A for North American Operations, where they developed budgeting and forecasting processes and played a key role in labor planning optimization.

Stefan Boyd's impressive track record at Amazon continued as they became the Finance Manager for Ecommerce and Payments, providing financial insights to senior executives and leading data center spend management. Stefan also served as the Regional Controller for North American Fulfillment, managing operational planning and spending for numerous fulfillment centers.

Moving forward, Stefan Boyd worked as the Head of Finance, FP&A, and Finance Business Partner for Canada, Mexico, Brazil, and the Americas. Stefan oversaw finance operations, supported market expansion, and effectively managed Amazon Logistics operations in Mexico City.

In 2018, Stefan Boyd joined Coupang as Vice President of FP&A Finance, Global Operations, where they directed a team responsible for all financial operations for the Fulfillment and Logistics business segments. Stefan also launched a successful program called Carflex, which significantly reduced delivery costs.

From 2019 to 2020, Stefan Boyd served as the Vice President of Operations at Alto Pharmacy, where they transformed the company by implementing a 5S culture, developing management reporting analytics, and establishing a Continuous Improvement team. Their efforts led to a 30% improvement in efficiency and major reductions in defects and waste.

Most recently, Stefan Boyd joined Deliverr Inc. as the Vice President of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) & Operations Finance. Stefan brings their expertise in driving cost and margin efficiencies in transportation and fulfillment operations to the company.

Stefan Boyd completed their Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Michigan between 1991 and 1996. Prior to that, they attended Shawnee High School from 1987 to 1991. Later, between 2001 and 2003, they pursued their Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Finance and Operations from Indiana University - Kelley School of Business.
