Daan Boltje is a Graduate Student at TU Delft since May 2020 and an Experimental Physicist at DELMIC B.V. since May 2018. Previously, Daan completed a Master Thesis Research Internship at the Max-Planck Institute for Solid State Research in Stuttgart, Germany, focusing on voltage-induced changes in magnetocrystalline anisotropy energy using X-ray resonant techniques. Daan also worked as a Hilfswissenschaftler on Critical Casimir forces at the University of Stuttgart and as a Research Technician in Quantum Matter and Optics at Universiteit Leiden. Additional experience includes internships and a Bachelor Thesis at institutions such as Nikhef and Universiteit Utrecht. Daan holds a Master of Science in Physics from the University of Stuttgart and a Bachelor of Engineering in Technische natuurkunde from De Haagse Hogeschool.
