Saul Caganoff

Saul Caganoff is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in platform engineering, architecture, and emerging technologies. Currently serving as a Principal at Deloitte Australia since August 2016, Saul focuses on enabling agility and innovation for businesses through the Platform Engineering business unit. Additionally, Saul holds the role of Editor at InfoQ, covering APIs, Cloud, and Architecture. Previous positions include CTO at Sixtree, SmartGrid Architect at Ausgrid, and Director of Emerging Technologies at TIBCO Software. With significant contributions as Principal Architect at TIBCO and earlier as a technical lead at Fourth Dimension Interactive and SpatialInfo, Saul has demonstrated expertise in complex system integration and innovative solutions. Saul began a distinguished career in astrophysics, working as a research scientist on the Hubble Space Telescope team at Johns Hopkins University, complemented by a PhD in Astrophysics from The Australian National University.
