Don Gerritsen

Don Gerritsen serves as the Sustainable Investment Leader for Europe, Middle East & Africa at Deloitte since February 2022, providing strategic guidance on sustainability for financial services organizations. Concurrently, Don holds the position of Director at Monitor Deloitte, leading sustainable investment initiatives. Prior experience includes serving as Regional Head at the Principles for Responsible Investment, where Don oversaw support for financial institutions in integrating sustainability into their strategies. Don has also held managerial roles at the Association of Investors for Sustainable Development and worked as a Strategy Consultant at KPMG, advising various sectors on responsible investment. Don's career began at the United Nations with a focus on sustainability programs. Educational qualifications include an Executive MBA from Rotterdam School of Management and a Master's in Public Administration from the University of the West of England.
