Gary Hallam

Director, Channel Business EMEA & APAC at Delphix

Gary Hallam has over 35 years of work experience in various roles within the technology industry. Gary began their career at Electronic Data Systems as a Systems Engineer before moving on to K3 Group as an Analyst Programmer. At BASF, they worked as an Analyst Programmer before joining Early, Cloud & Company as a CRM and Middleware Technical Consultant. During this time, they were involved in implementing large-scale middleware and call center systems for major financial institutions. Gary then joined IBM through the acquisition of Early Cloud & Company, where they served as a Technical Project Manager, leading the design and implementation of telephone banking call centers using middleware and telephony CTI products.

In 2000, Gary joined Amacis as a Senior Project Manager, where they implemented message management systems for companies such as HSBC Bank, AIB Bank, and Orange PCS Limited. Gary also set up a cloud-based managed service for Orange, focusing on SMS and MMS campaign management. At ATG, they served as a Client Partner, and at BEA Systems, they worked as a Senior Systems Engineer, specializing in telecommunications and media middleware.

Gary then joined Oracle as a Principal Sales Consultant, focusing on Oracle Fusion Middleware and service-oriented architecture (SOA) governance. Gary later became the Senior Sales Consulting Manager, leading a team responsible for providing technical and bid support for sales consulting teams across Europe.

Since 2015, Gary has been working at Delphix. Gary started as the EMEA Sales Engineering Manager, where they helped build an effective sales engineering team in the EMEA region. Gary then moved on to roles such as Director of Sales Engineering for EMEA and Director of Partner Enablement. Their most recent roles at Delphix include Director of Channel Sales & Enablement for the MEA region and Director of Partner Business for EMEA. Currently, they serve as the Director of Channel Business for EMEA & APAC.

Throughout their career, Gary has demonstrated expertise in sales engineering, partner enablement, and channel sales. Gary has worked with major companies such as Walmart, Wells Fargo, Cisco, Facebook, and Pfizer in delivering high-quality application projects efficiently.

Gary Hallam attended Newcastle University from 1983 to 1986, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (Honors) degree in Geophysics & Planetary Physics.
