Woodrow Evans

Woodrow Evans has over 30 years of work experience in various roles and industries.

Woodrow began their career at AT&T Labs, where they worked as a Member of Technical Staff for eight years. Woodrow then joined Oracle and held multiple positions, including Senior Principal Consultant, Technical Manager, and Consulting Practice Director. In these roles, they managed the delivery of projects, performed bid process quality reviews, and oversaw technical projects for clients.

After their time at Oracle, Woodrow worked at Montclair State University as a Visiting Lecturer before joining L-3 Communications as a System Engineer, SA, and Team Manager for Enterprise Architecture. In this role, they acted as a Solution Architect for an enterprise-scale architecture repository and led architecture initiatives for government contracts.

Woodrow's most recent experience includes working at Delphix as a Director and Vice President of PreSales, where they led and coached teams of solution engineers and provided insight to business leaders on the value of virtual Data as a Service. Woodrow is currently a member of the Leadership Team at PreSales Collective, where they aim to elevate the role of PreSales professionals globally.

Throughout their career, Woodrow has demonstrated expertise in solution architecture, business development, and technical sales. Woodrow has worked in various industries, including telecommunications, government, and education. Woodrow's extensive experience and leadership skills make him a valuable asset in the field of PreSales.

Woodrow Evans holds a Master of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering / Concurrent Design Management from Stevens Institute of Technology. Woodrow also completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science (College of Engineering) at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. In addition to their formal education, Woodrow has obtained several certifications in Pre-Sales Engineering from Delphix, including Master Solution Engineer, Pre-Sales Engineer, and Solution Engineer, all achieved in February 2021.
