Tewolde Gebremariam

Tewolde Gebremariam is an accomplished aviation executive with extensive experience in various leadership roles. Currently serving as a Senior Strategic Advisor at Delta Air Lines and an Aviation Consultant for TGM Advisory Services LLC, Tewolde has a proven track record in consulting across all sectors of aviation. From November 1985 to March 2022, Tewolde served as Group CEO of Ethiopian Airlines, driving significant growth and transformation, increasing annual turnover from one billion to five billion USD, and expanding the fleet from 33 to 134 aircraft. Previous roles include COO, Executive Officer Marketing, and Regional Director positions, contributing to a comprehensive understanding of airline operations and management. Tewolde holds an MBA from The Open University and a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Addis Ababa University.
